A New Beginning

Buenos dias, everyone! To those of you who trekked across the internet to follow me here, and to those of you who are new, welcome to my new home. I used to be over at Publishing Lane, but with a new job in publishing, and my intense hatred of Blogger’s platform, I decided it was time for a change.

And so we find ourselves here, at WordPress (where I also blog with LTWF). I’d intended to keep the same title as my old blog, but it was already taken. And in the spirit of change, I opted for something new. Stet, as I recently learned, is a proofreading tool that means “let it stand.” As in, disregard a change made to a manuscript. Armed with new information, and because my journey into publishing is already underway, I figured it was time to drop the old title.

What can you expect from Stet That? Hopefully the following:

-More vlogs

-More book recommendations

-More writing advice

-More industry insiders

-Maybe even a job posting or two

-A few more personal posts

-And if I can charm some people into doing guest posts/interviews, those too

Thanks to everyone who filled out the survey I posted on Publishing Lane! I’m going to do my best to incorporate everything you guys mentioned, and to update on a more regular schedule. I also plan to slowly repost some of my old posts — I don’t want to spam you guys!

Because I’m often reading for work, I don’t have as much time to dig into my TBR pile. However, I’d really love to do something where you guys send me book reviews I can share with other readers. I don’t care how long it is, or what book it’s for, as long as you liked it! If you’d be interested, please email or tweet me. We’ll be in touch.

Also, if you’re someone who works in the industry and would like to do a guest post, I’d love to have you.
