Sammy Bina is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she majored in Creative Writing and Art History. Armed with big dreams and no actual plan, she moved away from the cheese and beer and now resides in New York City, where she spends her days working in publishing.
Previously, she has worked as a publicity intern for the University of Wisconsin Press, an acquisitions editor for Souvenirs Magazine, office manager and staff member of the Madison Review Literary Journal, and interned with the Elaine P. English Literary Agency. She’s also been a sandwich maker, receptionist, waitress, hostess, librarian, and barista. She won’t lie, she misses the free coffee.
In her free time you can find her wandering around the Upper West Side, running in Riverside Park, or on an early morning flight to somewhere exciting.
She spins more than she should, watches an obscene amount of 90s television, and has an unhealthy addiction to pinterest.
