Having subconsciously decided to start spending more money (than I have) on traveling, I recently found myself in need of a better makeup bag than the bulky thing I’d picked up from the drug store years ago. It didn’t really fit in any of my luggage, had weird pockets, and took up WAY too much space on the counter of wherever I was staying.
I was randomly strolling around downtown and decided to pop into one of my favorite stores, Muji. Low and behold, I found the perfect travel makeup case — and I hadn’t even been looking that day! From size to construction, this one fits the bill.
As you can see from the photo, it holds a lot, but does it in a space-saving way. It fits in the corner of a suitcase, or in my weekend bag, no problem, and because the sides are sturdy, it isn’t going to collapse in on itself.
To give you an idea of what all fits inside, here’s what I packed for my two week trip to Wisconsin and London.
